    "The Jansen clan of five members strong immigrated from South Africa to Canada in mid July 2005, arriving in Kelowna on Saturday 23 July 2005, each with only two suitcases of clothes. I am working as an expatriate on a fly in fly out basis, and had to return to Africa 11 August 2005 (It was our first time in Canada, and had only two weeks as the target to buy a home, register it on our name, furnish it and settle the family before my return to Africa).     Real estate agents, seems everywhere they are a dime a dozen. Kelowna is no exception. A few months ago Ann and I were in search of a new home, and we decided to tour open houses. We went through several, and by chance we came across Walter at a beautiful open house that had attracted our interest. He was curious as to what we had to sell, so later that day he and Peggy came by to have a look. The rest is now history, but in a sense not really. With most people it would be, but not with these two. They came, they saw, they LISTENED. We expressed to them what we wanted for our townhouse, and what we could afford and wanted in a home. They researched the market, said that we were within the "ballpark", listed our property, and went on a hunt for a suitable house. In the end we did not purchase the home at which initial contact had been made, but rather one that best suited our needs. And they were able to sell our existing property for what we had requested. With most sales people the transaction would have ended here. Not with Peggy and Walter. They continue to look after our interests on our brand new home.
